Ideal for blending applications, the Momentum 25F delivers continuous uninterrupted flow at a desired rate. It continuously adjusts to maintain the operator or host computer selected set point within 0.5% of full scale.
Instead of conventional impact measurement using a flat deflection plate, the Momentum 25F determines flow by measuring the forces necessary to redirect the incoming material flow from near vertical to horizontal along a specially designed curve chute - a patented, change in momentum method of measurement. This method overcomes the inherent inaccuracy caused by scattered, unpredictable material flow caused by impact style measurement.
As well, the weight based design of the Momentum 25F eliminates the inherent errors of volumetric feeding, since weight based measurement is unaffected by varying material densities or moisture content.
